National Justice Potluck: April 2023 Gatherings for Movement Writers and Organizers

At Just Media, we believe that the stories told in the media should match those told on the ground. We know that there are many important justice issues affecting our communities and that the voices of those who are impacted are often not represented in traditional media outlets.
That's why we're excited to invite journalists and movement organizers from across the nation to our National Justice Potluck! This free event will provide a space for us to come together, share our passions, and build relationships.
During the potluck, we'll have the opportunity to:
Get to know each other and connect with like-minded individuals
Share pitches and leads for coverage on justice issues that matter to us
Discuss strategies for making media more equitable and representative of our communities
We welcome anyone who is interested in justice issues, media-making, or storytelling to join us. Whether you're a seasoned organizer, journalist, or just getting started, we believe everyone has a valuable perspective to share.
